Shingles Help? - pictures of shingles on the breast

I went to the MD on Tuesday, because the skin of the chest, back, were the upper and lower back terribly wrong (all) on the right side of my body. The skin still hurts, and it gave me an antiviral drug for the treatment of herpes zoster. Is it possible, shingles without a rash? I have a few bumps here and there but nothing like the pictures I've ever seen.
