I am a former flight attendant and spent 13 years while almost all international flights for long-haul trans-Atlantic and Pacific. In fact, I lived in London and California (8 time change the time) and traveled to nearly 60 countries. I used to take melatonin long.

It is true that you should consult your doctor, but because melatonin is something you have in your brain, it is unlikely to cause adverse effects. I have a terrible time with antihistamines, melatonin, but no problems. There are many things that I know of melatonin is not surprising, then, if he or she does not dare to recommend to open. The network information is also incomplete.

Do not take the plane. First, it is not necessarily a sleep aid. I found it has helped me bellies, but does not really help you sleep. My problem with the Jet-Lag has always been to stay asleep all night, so it's worked for me.

Another reason not to fly that the only side effect that my colleaguesD I realized increased nightmares. You do not want a flight! (hold the on-board entertainment, the film) is not taken into account, especially if you have a history of sleepwalking, etc.

Never even heard of melatonin jet lag worse. Use only at your destination when you go to bed. Try again, the first at home before bedtime. 1mg buy if you're interested. Packaged in a rule in 3mg, but can be found in the pharmacies 1mg major pharmacies.

Not all the other techniques such as jet lag, than trying to remain until the first day, drink plenty of water and at least try to sleep on the flight. Exit and walk during the day when you arrive in London.

Make sure to eat something light in your room. Your stomach needs to adjust too, and if you are deaf and waits for dinner, you will not be able to obtain or maintain sleep, take care what you do.

Keep the lights low at night and avoid screens (television, computers, etc.) during sleep. The nature of the generated light inhibits memelatonin production and many people around and begins to run on these, so the jet lag worse. "Melatonin is produced naturally in the shade and rest.

So, remember that taking melatonin is not like taking medicines abroad. It is easy to add something to your body already produces.

Have a great time in London, and good luck!
